Overall Responsibilities

Oversee and manage UTIMCO’s operational functions in partnership and collaboration with the custodian, ensuring alignment with UTIMCO’s operational policies, controls, processes, and procedures including, but not limited to:

Collateral and margin management across multiple counterparties.

Prepare and provide updates to global documentation across various foreign markets as needed for separately managed account relationships.

Trade break resolution and timely reconciliation for internal trading across systems and service providers.

Interpret and apply terms and conditions associated with derivative trading, including but not limited to swaps, futures, repos, and structured products.

Collaborate with investment teams on implementation of new investment strategies and structures (i.e., repo structures, liquidity management, prime broker relationships, and derivatives).

Facilitate transfers and sales for stock distributions and maintain strong broker relationships.

Collaborate with UT System tax consultant to coordinate collection of limited partnership K-1s and responses to associated Unrelated Business Taxable Income (UBTI) questions.

Manage reporting processes and ensure accuracy and timeliness of operational data delivery.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and to mitigate operational risks.

Lead strategic initiatives and cross‑functional projects that improve UTIMCO’s operational capabilities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in investment operations, or middle office functions.

Strong understanding of investment company operations and trade lifecycle management.

Familiarity with prime brokerage, repo structures, and liquidity management.

Experience with collateral management and derivative operations.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).

Preferred Qualifications

CFA, CAIA, CPA, or FRM certifications.

Experience working with institutional counterparties, including prime brokers and custodians.

Exposure to regulatory reporting and compliance frameworks.

NOTE: This role requires in‑office, 4 days a week, Monday thru Thursday.
