Seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client’s team through Brooksource. This role manages a diverse project portfolio, large budgets, and complex initiatives lasting several months to years.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management:
Plan and oversee projects using PMO resources; manage budgets and timelines.
Contract & Vendor Management:
Ensure quality deliverables, handle bids, proposals, and change orders.
Leadership & Communication:
Advise leadership on status, budgets and resources; maintain stakeholder relationships.
Project Execution:
Develop and maintain plans covering scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality.
Operational & Risk Management:
Drive milestone reviews, manage changes, mitigate risks, and ensure documentation.
Financial Management:
Forecast costs, manage invoicing, and monitor variances.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s in Project Management, Engineering or related field; PMP preferred.
Experience:
5–7 years managing complex projects and budgets; vendor and contract management experience.
Skills:
Proficient in PM tools, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, financial forecasting and procurement.
Competencies:
Strong leadership, communication, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Advanced degree, additional certifications (Agile, Six Sigma), utility/energy sector experience.
