Position Highlights
Mid‑level position responsible for processing all releases of information (ROI) specifically medical record requests.
Associate must safeguard and protect the patient’s right to privacy, ensuring compliance with request, authorization, company policy and HIPAA regulations.
Travel 75% or more of the time.
What We’re Looking For
Hybrid position traveling to multiple sites in AL, FL, GA – travel cost covered.
Full‑time, Mo‑Fri 8:00 am‑4:30 pm.
Front desk processing of medical record requests.

Strong customer service and clerical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Medical office experience preferred.

You Will
Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with Company and Facility policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and security with all privileged information.
Maintain working knowledge of Company and facility software.
Adhere to the Company’s and Customer facilities Code of Conduct and policies.
Inform manager of work, site difficulties, and/or fluctuating volumes.
Assist with additional work duties or responsibilities as needed.
Consistently apply medical privacy regulations to guard against unauthorized disclosure.
Manage patient health records and guard them in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Prepare new patient charts, gathering documents from paper or electronic health records.
Ensure medical records are assembled in standard order and are accurate and complete.
Create digital images of paperwork for the electronic medical record.
Respond to requests for patient records within the facility and from external sources, retrieving and transmitting appropriately.
Answer inbound/outbound calls and assist with patient walk‑ins.
Handle faxes, open mail, and perform data entry as needed.
Schedule pick‑ups and assist with training associates in the HIS I position.
Generate reports for manager or facility as directed.
Exceed level 1 productivity expectations as outlined at specific site.
Participate in project teams and committees to advance operational strategies and initiatives.
Lead staff on general questions, assist new hires, and conduct developmental training.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring To The Table
High School Diploma or GED.
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to travel locally/regionally 75% or more of the time.
Ability to commute between locations as needed.
Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons.
1‑year Health Information related experience.
Meet and/or exceed Company Productivity Standards.
Basic computer proficiency.
Comfortable with phones, fax machine, printers, and other office equipment.
Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Detail‑ and quality‑oriented in accurate and compliant medical record information.
Strong data entry skills.
Ability to work with minimum supervision and respond to changing priorities.
Organizational and multitasking skills.
Capacity to respond to requests in a fast‑paced environment.
Bonus Points If
Previous production/metric‑based work experience.
In‑person customer service experience.
Ability to build relationships with on‑site clients and customers.
Comfortable bringing new ideas, process improvements, and feedback to internal stakeholders.
