Position Summary Mom's Meals | A Purfoods Company is seeking a Manager, Healthcare Partnerships – Medicare Advantage to drive growth in the Medicare Advantage channel through developing relationships with managed care plans. The role focuses on expanding utilization of post‑discharge and chronic‑care meal benefits, communicating value to partners, eliminating operational barriers, resolving account issues quickly, and maintaining trust and confidence in our services.

Position Responsibilities

Present Mom's Meals products and services to MA health plans and a variety of stakeholders, including clinical and operational leaders, case managers, social workers, physicians, nurses, and dietitians.

Collaborate with MA business development and clinical strategy teams to meet referral and meal volume targets, retain business, and ensure positive account status.

Schedule monthly or quarterly meetings with MA health plan accounts to drive utilization and expand services.

Monitor utilization, prepare commentary and updates, and deliver reporting to all accounts during meetings.

Build a schedule of staff meetings, in‑service presentations, and conferences for target audiences.

Attend relevant webinars and stay up to date with all MA program changes.

Work with marketing to ensure program alignment and proper representation of Mom's Meals in communications.

Communicate program changes internally to key stakeholders.

Maintain CareLink database documenting sales leads, contacts, meetings, and in‑services.

Request and deliver reports to MA health plans to improve operational efficiency.

Resolve any billing, intake or operational issues with internal partners and communicate the value of our services.

Represent Mom's Meals at conferences by coordinating displays, engaging attendees, and following up with leads.

Cross‑collaborate with implementation, customer care, intake, data analytics, IT, contracting, revenue cycle, compliance, product, business development, and clinical strategy teams.

Engage and promote awareness of Mom's Meals and continuously seek opportunities for growth and expansion.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree.

5+ years of healthcare sales experience in areas such as managed care, long‑term care, home health, home care, hospital, or medical equipment.

Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare benefit programs.

Experience consulting and presenting to care providers for high‑risk member populations.

Passion for helping people.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience with CRM, Salesforce, or similar sales software.

Strong background in Medicare/Medicaid and Managed Care organizations.

Clinical credentialing in Social Work, Nursing, or Nutrition, or the ability to communicate the importance of medical nutrition in reducing health‑care costs to a high‑risk population.

Familiarity and contacts within the specific regional market and experience working in Medicaid service provision.

Willingness to travel up to 20–30% of the time for day and overnight trips, regionally and nationwide.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Clinical background such as registered dietitian, licensed social worker, or nursing case manager with customer relationship experience.

Advanced degree (MS, MA, MPH, MSW, MBA, MHA).

Physical Requirements

Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.

Primarily sedentary work involving sitting for prolonged periods.

Visual perception, including peripheral vision and depth perception, to perform job tasks.
