Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer based in Sacramento, CA. The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will perform ultrasound procedures, including vascular and radiologic imaging, while ensuring the highest quality of care for patients. Key responsibilities include preparing and operating ultrasound equipment, collaborating with physicians for accurate diagnoses, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations and organizational standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Medical Imaging, Radiology, and Medicine
Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Expertise in Vascular imaging and diagnostic techniques
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce accurate imaging results
Strong interpersonal skills for patient care and effective collaboration with medical professionals
Previous experience in a healthcare or diagnostic imaging setting is a plus
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
Preferred: Echo experience and 1-3 years of experience.
