Join our Professional Development Team As a Technology & AI Learning Specialist located in our Los Angeles office, you will deliver technical learning programs on various topics offered to GT attorneys and staff, including AI integrated resources, internal legal applications, and regular New Hire Onboarding. You will collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, stakeholders, and project teams to create, design, and develop job aides, quick reference cards, guides and other resources used during instructor‑led programs.

This hybrid role requires local in‑office presence several times a week and a regular presence for day‑to‑day operations, team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver learning programs for attorneys and staff on the firm’s core technical applications and AI resources. Training formats include in‑person classroom, virtual training, and one‑on‑one instruction.

Facilitate Global New Hire Onboarding for the North American offices.

Use the firm’s virtual platforms to ensure an engaging learning environment; work with the learning team to adopt new platform features.

Act as training lead on projects requiring coordination of efforts and resources within the Professional Development team.

Work with instructional designers to ensure firm‑branded templates are used and deliverables are reviewed for quality assurance before implementation.

Build relationships with stakeholders in the US offices to align training with business objectives.

Design and develop engaging programs and curricula, defining objectives, outlining course content, exercises, assessments, and supporting materials.

Partner with regional HR professionals, business directors, or operational department heads to conduct needs analysis and recommend appropriate learning programs to address skill gaps.

Collaborate with software rollout teams through pilot orientation sessions, testing, reporting results, soliciting feedback, and compiling pilot statistics.

Generate class rosters, reports, and update attendance in GT’s Learning Management System.

Provide metrics on learning programs upon request.

Stay up to date with industry and field current trends, including AI.

Perform other job‑related duties as required.

Qualifications Skills & Competencies

Proven proficiency in delivering technology training programs in-person and virtually.

Strong technical and project management skills.

Ability to establish credibility with the client base as a valuable technical training resource.

Proficiency in instructional design application.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.

A self‑starter who takes ownership of assigned projects and demonstrates commitment; ability to work independently.

Education & Prior Experience

5 years of experience in a training environment, preferably in a professional services organization; prior legal industry experience is desired.

Strong technical knowledge of multiple software applications used in a legal environment, including MS Office 365, iManage, and document production tools like BigHand.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Technology, Education, or a related field preferred.

Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) a plus.

Technology

Experience with AI integrated applications a plus, including CoCounsel, Westlaw Advantage, Luminance, Definely, Intelligize® AI, Clearbrief, and Copilot.

Pay and Benefits The expected pay range for this position is $101,000 to $113,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
