Role: Full Stack Developer

We are looking to hire a full stack Java developer with 8+ years of hands-on development experience. The developer will be working in a dynamic, fast paced and a mission driven project, providing them an opportunity to further learn and enhance their skills while feel proud of the social mission they support.
Responsibilities
Design and work with n-tier architectures (UI, business logic layer, data access layer) and distributed architectures using integration hubs such as Data Power, Mule or any ESB.
Develop with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Core, Spring Transactions, and related J2EE components (JSP, EJB, servlets, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, JTA) including logging (Log4J), thread management, and asynchronous Java processes.
Build REST and SOAP services using JAX-WS/RS and/or Spring framework.
Create multi-module projects; compile, build, package into Jars, Wars, and EARs; deploy to Application Servers (WebSphere, JBoss, etc.).
Experience with TypeScript or ECMAScript (ES6+).
Style handling with CSS, SCSS, Bootstrap or similar.
Frontend development experience with React or Angular and Node.js is preferred.
Write unit tests with Jest, Enzyme or Mocha.
Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and strong understanding of database principles/SQL beyond data access.
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies; hands-on development in recent projects.
Strong communication skills, written and oral; ability to interact with development team leadership and clients.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented and a team player.
Understand system security measures and how to implement them (e.g., SQL injections, cookies).
Mentor junior staff and lead technical designs; perform code reviews and recommend automated review tools.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to understand requirements for current and future products.
Adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment; build high-quality systems with software implementation best practices.
Project experience in Agile processes; knowledge of SDLC and tools such as JIRA, JAMA, etc.
