Facilities Maintenance Supervisor With direction from and in collaboration with General Manager and winemaking team, will perform preventative, routine and corrective maintenance tasks to facilities and production systems involving plumbing, painting, landscaping, basic electrical, mechanical and carpentry. Has primary responsibility for maintaining winemaking and cellar equipment (presses, sorting tables, crusher/destemmer, optical sorter, pumps, valves, motors, tanks, barrel maintenance equipment, etc.) and mechanical systems (boilers, chiller, compressors, wastewater system, etc.).

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with small projects and large‑scale tasks with winemaking team and outside vendors/contractors.

As needed, supervises staff from winemaking in performing maintenance tasks and repairs.

Perform preventative/predictive maintenance and corrective maintenance, utilizing CMMS system as needed. This includes daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance tasks, ranging from lubrication to complete machine center breakdown and reassembly.

Maintain accurate and adequate parts inventory to reduce or eliminate downtime.

Works with vendors to research issues and orders parts as needed.

Respond to emergency repair requests as needed.

Install, repair or modify existing or new equipment.

Troubleshoot equipment as needed to contribute to an efficient production environment.

Qualifications Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1‑3 years general maintenance experience.

Knowledgeable in various mechanic, facilities maintenance and/or construction trades.

Knowledgeable regarding safe work practices including the use of proper PPE at all times, and the proper use of lockout/tagout protocols as needed.

Ability to troubleshoot winemaking equipment and mechanical systems desired.

Knowledgeable on basic electrical properties.

Ability to communicate and take/give directions in English (verbal and written).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to perform job duties with accuracy and professionalism.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English).

Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to comply with company policies and applicable laws.

Physical Demands (ADA Compliant) The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Ability to lift heavy boxes 40‑50 lbs, and go up and down stairs and ladders. The maintenance role presents a work environment which can vary from a workshop setting to climbing on top of outdoor equipment and buildings. Work can be impacted by constant interruptions and urgent changes in job priorities.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, peripheral and color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
