Job Summary Our Field Technicians are vital to our reputation in the material‑handling industry. You’ll work directly with customers, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform installations, repairs, and scheduled maintenance, and keep both equipment and the service van in top condition. Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and diagnose electro‑mechanical problems; perform installations and repairs.
Interact with customers to understand concerns, recommend solutions, and ensure satisfaction.
Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the company positively.
Execute repairs efficiently and effectively, responding promptly to service calls.
Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks for contracted customers per company policies.
Manage parts and supplies inventory in your service van.
Maintain the service van and ensure it is stocked with necessary equipment.
Follow customer safety and housekeeping guidelines at every site.
Perform any other duties necessary to support overall operations.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
High‑school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or installation; a solid foundation in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Heavy work involving machinery, power tools, motor vehicles, and heavy equipment. Tasks include walking, climbing, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Requires good vision, concentration, and hearing. Work occurs in manufacturing, distribution, cold storage, and outdoor settings with exposure to oil, grease, dirt, extreme temperatures, and vibration. Noise levels are moderate to high. Proper safety procedures must be followed to avoid hazards, including electric shock and chemical exposure.
Travel & Schedule Requirements Daily travel to customer sites is required; overnight travel may be needed for projects or training. Schedule may include overtime, shifts, on‑call duty, weekends, and holidays.
