Job Description
Serve as a Geospatial Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the JC3‑Functional Defeat (FD) Branch, responsible for developing virtual and physics‑based 3D models to support mission planning and minimizing collateral damage effects. You will review multiple intelligence sources to recreate surface and sub‑surface structures in a virtual environment, which will be used as part of larger 3‑D representations or to calculate and predict blast effects. What You Will Be Doing
Recreating real‑world structures in a high‑fidelity virtual environment to support mission planning and collateral effects assessments.
Utilizing imagery analysis skills to determine the construction and design of surface and sub‑surface structures.
Using GIS skills to transform vector and raster data into desired formats, combining them into larger datasets, and presenting them in a 3‑D environment.
Collaborating with cross‑function teams to develop plans and products.
Providing technical guidance and expertise to junior team members and stakeholders.

Desired Skills Physics Modeling Skills (IMEA/UTAS)
Proficient in creating accurate building models derived from multiple intelligence sources.
Capable of applying weapon systems engineering solutions to developed models.
Able to explain predictive modeling results clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Visual Modeling Skills (SketchUp)
Create accurate, detailed 3‑D models of buildings, structures, and site layouts using Trimble SketchUp.
Interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, floor layouts, and imagery to generate precise 3‑D representations.
Imagery Analysis Skills (SocetGXP)
Review historical imagery to identify design and layout of buildings and structures.
Measure objects on imagery to accurately recreate in a 3‑D environment.
GIS Skills (ArcGIS Pro and TerraExplorer)
Familiar with vector and raster formats.
Ability to convert vector and raster data to desired formats and map projections.
Import and symbolize traditional GIS data and 3‑D content into a TerraExplorer project.
Build and maintain interactive fly‑through presentations in TerraExplorer.
