HR Senior Technology Leader At our company, we aspire to be the premier research-intensive biopharmaceutical company. We\'re at the forefront of research to deliver innovative health solutions that advance the prevention and treatment of diseases in people and animals. We are seeking an experienced and driven HR Senior Technology Leader for HRIT to join our dynamic team. This role will be accountable for delivering innovative technical solutions that enable HR functions and lead digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic technology leadership and develop long-term roadmaps aligned to corporate objectives while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Architect and deliver end-to-end technology programs using sound program management and agile delivery approaches to meet time, scope, and budget targets.

Lead, mentor, and orchestrate hybrid onshore/offshore development and operations teams to deliver business-critical applications and services.

Drive innovation through process re-engineering and service-oriented architectures (SOA) that modernize legacy systems, reduce operational overhead, and increase enterprise agility.

Evaluate, pilot, and operationalize emerging technologies (including Generative AI and prompt engineering) to accelerate development cycles, improve data insights, and automate complex business workflows.

Own solution architecture, integrations, and release management for enterprise portals, learning platforms, verification systems, and other core applications.

Establish and enforce platform and development governance, security practices, and cost optimization across cloud and collaboration ecosystems.

Act as a senior technical advisor and stakeholder liaison, translating executive strategy into practical, auditable technology solutions that meet business and compliance needs.

Qualifications Required

12+ years of progressive technology experience, including significant experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector and demonstrated understanding of regulated environments.

Proven record of leading enterprise & solution architecture and digital transformation programs at scale, delivering complex solutions on time and within budget.

Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft and AWS cloud ecosystems—including architecture, deployment, security, and cost management.

Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint (on-premises and online), Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate), and the Viva suite for driving enterprise collaboration and learning.

Demonstrated experience applying Generative AI, prompt engineering, and Microsoft Copilot technologies to real business problems.

Strong background in designing and building integrations and APIs, and in using API management tools and gateway approaches.

Prior experience leading hybrid onshore/offshore teams and vendor/partner relationships.

Excellent communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business, IT, and compliance functions.

Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Cognitive Services, Key Vault, etc.), AWS (S3, CloudFront, EC2, Lambda).

Collaboration & Productivity: Microsoft 365, Viva Suite, SharePoint (2007–2016, Online), SPFx.

Low Code Platforms: Power Platform (Canvas & Model-driven apps, Power BI, Power Automate).

Development & DevOps: Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, TFS, CI/CD practices.

APIs & Integration: REST APIs, API gateway concepts, enterprise integration patterns.

Programming & Web: C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js), PowerShell, SQL Server, SSRS/SSIS.

AI/ML: Generative AI, prompt engineering, Microsoft Copilot.

Migration & Governance Tools: Sharegate, Metalogix, AvePoint, governance frameworks and best practices.

ITSM & Tools: ServiceNow, Ivanti, JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work schedule with three on-site days per week and Friday remote, unless business needs require on-site presence. This guidance does not apply to field-based, facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions, or roles designated as remote.

The salary range for this role is $139,600.00 - $219,700.00. The salary shown is the current range at the time of posting and may be adjusted based on education, experience, and location.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
