Staff Accountant We are a growing local CPA firm seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team.
This position is ideal for a CPA or CPA candidate with solid accounting and tax preparation experience who is looking for long‑term growth in a supportive, professional environment.
This role is also a great fit for experienced accounting and tax professionals who may have stepped away from the workforce and are now looking to return while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform monthly bank reconciliations for small, closely held businesses
Prepare and file payroll tax returns and sales tax returns
Prepare business, individual, and trust income tax returns
Work collaboratively with team members to meet client deadlines
Qualifications
CPA or CPA candidate required
Prior tax preparation experience required
Experience with small business accounting and closely held entities
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage deadlines, especially during tax season
Overtime required during tax season
Full‑time position
