Retail Banking – Commerce Township, MI – Full‑time/Regular
Overview of Responsibilities: Performs a broad range of member sales and service functions as well as teller transactions to deliver the desired member experience.
Member Service Representative responsibilities: processing loan applications, opening memberships, opening IRAs, setting up automated services, and supporting Call Center as needed.
Teller responsibilities: accurate completion of teller transactions, balancing drawer, and ending‑of‑day checks.
Relationships: Builds trusting relationships, uses Member Loyalty skills to handle complaints and resolve issues.
Cross‑Selling: Consultative approach, asks high‑impact questions, offers solutions and generates new business.
Core Competencies: Member Focus, Action Oriented, Communicates Effectively, Instills Trust, Self‑Development.
Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or GED; 6 months teller experience; either 2 years retail sales experience or Associate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting or Finance, or 1 year member/customer facing experience within financial services.
Compensation: Base hourly pay begins at $18.65 / hour; medical, dental, vision; 401(k) match; 12 paid holidays; PTO up to 120 hours.
