We are looking for heavy equipment maintenance professionals who are interested in a role within the aviation industry. We need experts in welding, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft ground support equipment such as forklifts, k‑loaders, generators, fuel trucks, and tugs. What you need
High school diploma or GED
English communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficient reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and hydraulic diagrams
Valid Driver’s license
Minimum three (3) years of industrial/commercial maintenance work
Basic arc/mig/acetylene welding and troubleshooting/diesel engine repair, transmissions, hydraulic systems, battery‑operated equipment
Ability to change light/heavy‑duty tires and wheels; work independently in non‑supervised positions
Basic computer skills
Complete set of mechanic’s tools (company provides specialized tools)
Demonstrate proficiency in all the above areas
Ability to stoop, bend, manipulate tools in tight spaces
Perform work at heights
Frequently lift/move objects up to 10 lbs; occasionally up to 75 lbs
Preferred Skills
Six (6) months of formal approved technical training in automotive maintenance or truck/implement devices, or two (2) years of industrial/commercial vehicle/equipment servicing and minor repair. Note: One (1) year of formal schooling is considered as one (1) year of overall experience.
Prior military AGE/GSE experience
Typing skills and computer knowledge of Microsoft Office products is a plus
