175 Terminal Avenue, Clark, NJ – Hybrid role

Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sr. Developer to join our Color and Artwork team in our Clark, New Jersey office. This role will be instrumental in managing regulatory artwork projects from inception to approval, ensuring compliance and efficiency within our artwork system, TAG.
The successful candidate will also gain valuable experience by managing the re-color matching of our existing packaging portfolio that currently contain non-recyclable attributes. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to expand their skills within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, gaining experience in artwork, package decoration, color development and project management.
Key Responsibilities
Artwork Management:
Project Management: Oversee and manage the lifecycle of various regulatory artwork projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to established guidelines.
Brief Creation: Develop comprehensive and accurate project briefs for new artwork initiatives, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to gather all necessary information.
System Routing & Approval: Utilize the artwork management system, TAG, to route artwork for review and approval, tracking project completion progress.
Compliance Assurance: Ensure all artwork projects meet stringent regulatory requirements and internal standards.
Color & Aesthetic Management:
Color Matching: Manage color matching process of sustainability projects including removal of carbon black, rematching colors in PCR and ensure new BOMs and specs are issued for revised colors.
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams, Marketing, Packaging Development, the Plant and External Agencies.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation for all assigned projects.
What We Are Looking For
2-4 years experience in proven package development project /quality experience, preferably in the cosmetics, consumer goods or related field is required
A completed Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related engineering/technical discipline a plus is required
Travel to vendors and plants may be required (5-10% of time)
Proficient PC skills - Excel and PowerPoint
Proficient communication skills (written & verbal), to be able to deal effectively with all levels of our organization and our suppliers.
Good organizational skills to manage the documentation, materials and information.
Must be team oriented and able to create strong relationships with all cross functional partners
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis, without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
