This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role at a critical stage of our growth. You’ll be responsible for securing daily capacity while also shaping long‑term carrier partnerships and strategies. It’s an opportunity to step into a leadership‑minded position within a startup‑style division, backed by a company with more than 20 years of global logistics experience.
If you thrive in fast‑paced environments, enjoy negotiating, building relationships, and taking ownership, this role offers both immediate responsibility and long‑term growth potential.
About the Role As Capacity Specialist, you’ll be central to ensuring our freight moves efficiently and profitably. You’ll blend daily execution with strategic thinking as we continue to scale.
Your responsibilities will include:
Sourcing, vetting, and onboarding carriers to build a strong and reliable network
Securing daily coverage while maintaining service quality, cost efficiency, and margins
Building long‑term partnerships with carriers, owner‑operators, and trucking companies
Negotiating competitive rates and capacity commitments
Responding quickly to coverage gaps and market shifts
Optimizing margins through smart load pairing and rate strategies
Maintaining an organized carrier database by region, equipment, and performance
Serving as the primary point of contact for carriers and resolving service issues
Collaborating closely with sales, operations, and leadership
Coaching and guiding junior reps as the team grows
Why VinWorld?
Startup‑style environment with real ownership and visibility
Backed by an established logistics company with 20+ years of experience
Opportunity to help shape processes, strategy, and culture
Strong benefits package, including 100% company‑paid health insurance for employees and 14 days of PTO
Clear path for growth and leadership as the division scales
Who You Are
Experienced in carrier sales, capacity sourcing, or brokerage operations
Comfortable owning both execution and strategy
Strong negotiator with a relationship‑first mindset
Resourceful, organized, and calm under pressure
Motivated by performance, accountability, and building something meaningful
