Summary The Trust Associate is a junior relationship management role that works closely with a dedicated team of Trust Advisors. The Associate helps families identify and meet their financial goals and administers client relationships primarily focused on revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, estate and institutional expertise. Responsibilities include organizing documents, generating reports, general correspondence and serving as the primary client touch point while resolving customer inquiries.
Responsibilities
Provide ongoing customer relationship management support to retain accounts and expand client relationships.
Research, resolve, and respond to clients’ inquiries/issues in a timely and professional manner.
Ask the right questions and listen to customers to gain an understanding of their needs and accurately define customers’ needs or issues.
Perform necessary duties consistently and reliably to meet customer expectations and contribute to the intended customer experience.
Assist with projects and general office duties as assigned.
Read and understand the complexities of a Trust document to manage opening, funding, closing, and transfer processes and maintain accounts according to bank policies.
Prepare and maintain appropriate forms and documentation per Trust Advisor direction, ensuring completeness and appropriate approvals.
Demonstrate knowledge of products/services and proactively recommend customer solutions.
Prioritize tasks, communicate with Trust Advisors, and maintain good relationships with peers and business partners.
Follow up with clients and internal contacts to verify needs are met and facilitate exception decisions to ensure workflow efficiency.
Identify areas for process improvement and regularly use improvement tools.
Comply with Bank policies, regulations, and BSA/AML Program, including Customer Identification Program, Customer Due Diligence, suspicious activity monitoring, and required training.
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree.
Understanding of financial concepts related to investments, insurance, taxes, and estates.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and share information openly.
Proficiency in electronic communication and detail orientation.
Strong analytical, decision‑making, and technology skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Trust Desk or similar platform.
Excellent listening, confident client communication, and credibility building.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in Trust or Wealth Management industry.
CTFA Certification.
Working knowledge of Wealth and Trust platform systems.
Compensation Salary Range: $62,047.00 – $102,377.00 (base pay). Final compensation may vary based on experience, education, and skills.
Work Environment The incumbent will work onsite at the posted location. The environment fosters innovation, mentorship, and collaboration while providing professional growth opportunities. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.
