Summary:

ASMPT in Suwanee, GA is looking for a Warehouse Specialist. The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment. This role focuses on operational excellence in receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping, while maintaining productivity and accuracy standards. Determines and resolves reasons for any delays and inconsistencies and takes action to resolve. Promptly notifies all parties about issues which may affect customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Receive goods, inspect, count, and record in ERP/WMS against shipping documents; label and storing.

Pick and pack orders per SOPs; verify accuracy and condition.

Executes Daily Cycle Count inventory procedures, verifies stock accuracy and process adjustments if necessary.

Upload and Unload trucks, open and close crates.

Communicate with GSM, Supplier or responsible Management on any issues that require clarification on discrepancies.

Maintains clean and organized storage/work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Escalating maintenance issues with any warehouse equipment (forklift, drill, ladder, etc.).

Monitor workflow and adjust priorities to meet operational deadlines.

Ensure proper product handling and storage.

Qualifications and Skills

3–4 years in warehouse/distribution; able to meet safety guidelines

Must be fluent in English – speaking, reading, and writing.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience in Warehouse Management systems and proper execution.

Excellent problem resolution skills required.

Good Communication skills required for interaction with all contacts.

Must be able to work independently, with minimum supervision, as well as in a team environment.

Ability to lift 50 lbs. and do manual labor as needed.

Maintain training requirements for current and ongoing OSHA compliance.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED required.

Associate or bachelor's Degree preferred.

3+ years of successful experience in Spare Parts Expediting and successful demonstration of key responsibilities.

Knowledge in warehouse operations.

Experienced forklift operator, able to operate different sizes of forklifts.

Required to move palletized goods weighing up to 2,000 pounds when crated.

Experience with SAP preferred.

Data entry, reconciliation, and material transactions within WM modules.

Experience with packing, shipping and third-party logistics.

Expected Hours of Work

Workdays and hours are typically on a rotating shift schedule, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., or as assigned by the supervisor.

This position requires availability for on-call duty, overtime, and occasional weekend work.
