Responsibilities
Drive Zero Incident Safety Culture.
Responsible for the workforce, safety, and 5S+ levels in the assigned area.
Train, upgrade, evaluate and review operators.
Maintain good employee relations and adherence to labor contract provisions, taking proper disciplinary measures when required.
Keep records of attendance, performance, and departmental activities.
Report process and equipment problems to appropriate personnel.
Schedule overtime as necessary.
Conduct daily team stand‑up meetings focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost/productivity, and inventory.
Enforce safety policies and programs, meet operating budgets, complete continuous improvement plans, coach employees on behavior/performance, and initiate disciplinary actions if required.
Ensure the department meets production demands and that team leaders understand their roles in order fulfillment.
Lead cross‑functional team to improve processes and meet plant objectives.
Create a basis for continuous improvement and employee empowerment by ensuring standardized work processes are followed and countermeasures implemented, while remaining compliant with safety requirements.
Contribute to a safe, engaged, and inclusive work culture by ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment, operation of equipment, and performing 5S duties.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution OR Associate Degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 2 years manufacturing/operations experience OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years manufacturing/operations experience.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
SAP experience.
Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
