Requirements & Qualifications
5+ years of supply‑chain leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated success stepping into under‑structured operations and building order
Hands‑on experience owning purchasing, inventory, and vendor performance
Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; Syspro experience highly preferred
Proven ability to lead change, challenge the status quo, and drive adoption of new processes
Experience setting and enforcing safety stock levels, MOQs, and inventory controls
Comfortable making data‑driven decisions and holding teams and suppliers accountable
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Take full ownership of purchasing and inventory performance from day one
Reset vendor expectations through renegotiation, alternate sourcing, and quality enforcement
Stabilize material flow to assembly by fixing shortages, late deliveries, and planning gaps
Implement and document clear processes where none exist today
Ensure ERP and parts‑picking systems are accurate, disciplined, and actually used
Lead and develop purchasing and inventory teams with clarity and accountability
Partner directly with production and engineering to align materials with build schedules
Track and report KPIs tied to cost, delivery, and inventory accuracy — and act on them
Preferred Background & Skills
Background in small, high‑mix manufacturing environments
Experience leading ERP stabilization or implementation efforts
Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement exposure
Industrial or equipment manufacturing experience
Confident, steady leadership style with the ability to navigate change thoughtfully and effectively
Salary: $100,000 – $125,000
