Responsibilities

Impact the number of client bookings for Sandals and Beaches by servicing, educating, and building relationships in a proactive, professional manner within your assigned territory at the Travel Agent, Tour Operator, and Tourist Board levels. Grow new business by helping travel agencies develop marketing plans and achieve booking goals using tools through the Certified & Preferred Sandals Agency Programs. Travel extensively and work evenings and weekends; maintain an outgoing, positive, professional attitude, strong communication and time management skills; and function as part of a team. Navigate computers and software to present via PowerPoint, manage Excel spreadsheets, prepare documents, and communicate by e-mail; speak in public and prepare presentations for travel agencies. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills for internal and external customers. Prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism under pressure. Work well with limited supervision and within a team; multi-task and adapt to changes while traveling domestically and internationally with up-to-date documentation. Communicate effectively with management, product management, support, and development teams; willingness to have image captured for Sales & Marketing purposes.

Qualifications & Competencies

Ability to grow business and work under pressure; willingness to travel away from home weekly and as needed. Ability to work weekend events in your region and host trips to the Caribbean (including nights and weekends). Self-motivation and the ability to work independently from a home office without direct supervision. Strong organizational skills to prioritize, organize, and execute many activities while remaining flexible to changes. Professionalism in social situations; strong written and oral communication, including public speaking, slide presentations, and webinars to large groups. Proficiency with email, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, and common social media platforms. Ability to manage administrative tasks while traveling overnight; strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with accounts, peers, and clients. Physical ability to lift boxes of collateral (up to 50 lbs) and set up booth displays; valid driver’s license and passport. Commitment to delivering results with a high level of integrity and customer focus.

Compensation & Benefits

This role offers a base salary of $59,000.00 with the opportunity for incentives. Benefits include: Health, Dental, Vision Employer-paid life insurance, STD, and LTD Sick days, Vacation days, 9 Holidays Tuition assistance, Parental leave 401K plan with company match

Additional Information

For most locations, a wrapped company car is not readily available. A monthly car allowance is provided for the use of your personal vehicle, with company vehicles potentially available after up to six months. A personal credit card is required for business expenses, which are reimbursed by the company within two weeks. The position requires a high level of commitment, with overnight stays within the region.

Position includes a major element of administrative work, in addition to business development and marketing.
