Responsibilities
Lead the QC laboratory operations: set priorities for testing, assign work to lab technicians, and ensure all analyses and documentation are completed according to established procedures.
Manage incoming sample quality: perform sampling of raw materials and components within the lab, complete submission forms, make pass/reject decisions based on test results, and maintain accurate release records.
Conduct laboratory investigations: review out-of-spec results, determine root causes, and finalize quality dispositions; escape systemic issues and implement corrective/preventive actions within the lab environment.
Ensure consistent application of specifications: verify that all analytical and cosmetic/appearance standards are met and that records comply with audit and regulatory expectations.
Develop and mentor the QC lab team: provide training, reinforce safety and compliance culture, and continuously improve laboratory practices.
Qualifications
Strong Quality background.
3‑5 years of experience in quality control or a related field.
Intermediate level proficiency.
Employment Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Wharton, NJ.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 – $28.00 /hr.
