R&D Technician II
for a
Contract
with a client in
Marlborough, MA . You will test prototypes per engineering instructions and document results, while supporting calibration and maintenance programs for R&D equipment.
Rate Range: $25/hour to $32/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
R&D Technician II Job Responsibilities
Assemble prototypes and products according to design plans and engineering specifications.
Troubleshoot and suggest creative solutions for process and design issues during development.
Test prototypes per engineering instructions and accurately document test results for analysis.
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to obtain necessary supplies and services for prototype builds.
Perform basic statistical analysis on test results to support engineering decisions.
Train team members on new product processes and procedures and assist with calibration and maintenance programs for R&D test equipment.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree (AA) in a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in prototype assembly, testing, or related technical work.
Ability to assemble prototypes and perform troubleshooting on design and process issues.
Experience in testing prototypes per engineering instructions and documenting results accurately.
Pay Details $25.00 to $32.00 per hour.
