Location: Louisville, KY Position: Part-Time Security Officer, Auto Patrol Specialist Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Schedule: Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM; Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM; Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and proactive approach support a secure environment. This role involves driving responsibilities and the opportunity to engage with diverse teams in a people-first culture grounded in integrity, reliability, and innovation. What You'll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the automotive facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to relay important information and maintain a visible presence. Complete required reports and logs in accordance with site-specific protocols and Allied Universal standards. Follow all site-specific instructions and guidelines to support a secure environment in the automotive setting. Minimum Requirements
At least one year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. CPR or first aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
