Job Summary
Advanced Housekeeping Inspectors are responsible for ensuring guestrooms are cleaned in accordance with Vail Resorts/Grand Teton Lodge Company Brand Standards by conducting daily inspections of approximately 30‑45 guestrooms before guest check‑in. They oversee 4‑6 housekeepers, keep management informed of performance and cleanliness trends, and provide exemplary service to guests.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct daily inspections of 30‑45 guestrooms prior to check‑in.
Oversee the daily work of 4‑6 housekeepers to meet quality and efficiency standards.
Ensure housekeepers complete sections by 4:30 pm, including stripping rooms and making beds.
Report to management daily on performance, trends, and recommend recognition or disciplinary actions.
Maintain communication with the housekeeping office regarding room status and maintenance work orders.
Provide exemplary service to guests by anticipating needs and addressing cleanliness concerns.
Support the department in completing rooms by 4 pm check‑in time, performing housekeeper or houseperson duties if required.
Assist housekeeping management with special projects as needed.
Be able to walk outdoors in all weather conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
1–3 years of experience in a hotel setting (preferred).
Basic English speaking and understanding.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong commitment to guest satisfaction and cleanliness standards.
Ability to check others’ work and provide honest feedback.
Minimum age 18 years.
Preferred Skills
Prior housekeeping experience.
Prior hospitality experience.
