POSITION OVERVIEW The Senior Sales Associate (SSA) supports the store leadership team in achieving all customer service, sales, ATF requirements, and safety standards while demonstrating outstanding customer service and leadership in the store. The SSA is responsible for opening and closing the store, maintaining range safety and cleanliness standards, and pursuing personal sales goals. The SSA will learn the policies and procedures necessary for opening, closing, and the daily operation of the store in the absence of Store Leadership.

Provide outstanding customer service that is dedicated to exceeding customer expectations and fostering lasting relationships.

Greet customers and facilitate the customer experience.

Facilitate cross‑selling of complimentary products.

Inform customers of Range USA services, discounts, special offers, sales, and promotions.

Meet or exceed sales goals.

Meet or exceed all personal and store metric goals.

Answer customer questions regarding product pricing, features, and availability.

Assist with maintaining the store’s visual objectives and housekeeping standards by restocking, straightening merchandise, and ensuring that overall store appearance and cleanliness meets the company’s standards.

Produce the daily required documents including the 4473 forms, daily gun counts serial audits, position schedule, range, classroom, and course needs.

Manage store software to create merchandise labels and to stay up to date on daily store sales – actual vs. goals.

Conduct store opening and closing procedures including cleanliness, register setup, reconciliation, and store security.

Ensure all proper firearm safety rules are followed.

Ensure that range maintenance takes place to ensure lanes are working and any issues are addressed if possible. If necessary, relay needed parts to the manager for repair.

Maintain compliance with all involved government agencies including 4473 and background check processes during the firearm sales process.

Remain up to date on new products that customers have an interest in.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

1–2 years of customer service sales experience, preferably within a specialty retail environment.

Ability to understand, recall, and follow complex compliance regulations and handle highly confidential information.

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to open and/or close the store.

Communicates with customers effectively to ensure satisfaction and that their needs are being met.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Extended periods of standing.

Lifting and/or pushing objects up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Working at heights of up to 10 feet.
