Overview
We are seeking an
Emergency Room CNA , also referred to as a Emergency Department CNA, ED CNA, or Emergency Services C NA. An ER CNA assists nurses and doctors in the emergency room by providing patient care, monitoring vital signs, helping with procedures, and ensuring medical supplies are stocked. They also transport patients, document observations, maintain infection control, and offer emotional support in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.

Responsibilities
Help patients with basic needs (bathing, dressing, toileting), reposition and transfer patients as needed
Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration), assist with wound care and dressing changes under supervision
Prepare rooms and ensure medical supplies are stocked, transport patients within the hospital (to imaging or other departments)
Assist with procedures (e.g., setting up equipment, applying splints), perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and basic life support if certified
Record patient information and observations, report changes in patient condition to nurses or doctors and provide emotional support to patients and families
Clean and sanitize patient areas and equipment, follow hospital protocols to prevent infection spread
Qualifications
Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required
Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
Additional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus
Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred
