Job Description
Assists in implementing, monitoring, and aligning the IPC program with organizational goals under IP mentorship. Conducts surveillance using epidemiological methods to detect, classify, and act on infection-related events. Uses surveillance data to identify trends, report significant findings, and recommend changes. Participates in outbreak investigations and ensures compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements. Evaluates environments, assesses exposure risks, and applies disinfection and sterilization principles. Provides basic IPC education based on assessed learning needs. Utilizes technology and medical records for data collection, analysis, and integrity assurance. Identifies trends, manages IPC metrics, and uses IT systems to disseminate quality findings. Contributes to IPC and performance improvement projects, using data to support the sustainability of interventions. Participates in risk assessments and action planning for infection control. Ensures legal, regulatory, and ethical compliance in IPC practices and collaborates with public health entities. Reviews and integrates evidence-based research and findings into standard IPC practices. Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range
$28.68 - $53.35
