Seeking an associate therapist (MHC-LP or LMHC) who is interested in learning more about private practice! Kathryn Lee Therapy is a NYC based practice dedicated in providing trauma informed, culturally sensitive, integrative, and compassionate care. Any experience outside of the field is a plus!
This position includes competitive fee for service pay as a W2 employee, paid marketing profiles, clinical supervision, marketing support, malpractice insurance, and the ability to grow with the practice! The practice will provide both clinical supervision and marketing support. The role will start as a part time role as you build your caseload.
Role Description The clinician will provide individual psychotherapy to adult clients with various mental health concerns and diagnosis. The clinician will be responsible in building their own caseload with support and guidance from the supervisor in addition to completing administrative tasks, including scheduling, note taking, responding to client emails, in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling
Limited permit (MHC-LP) or Licensed (LMHC) in the state of NY upon hiring
Basic knowledge of diagnostic criteria and familiarity with the DSM-5
Ability to work with a range of mental health issues and diagnoses
A reliable, responsible, and self‑motivated individual who demonstrates a desire to learn and grow both clinically and professionally
Responsibilities
Clinician will acquire and retain new clients, and work up to a full caseload of 22-25 clients weekly. The role will start as a part time role as you build your caseload.
Clinician will complete documentation within 24 hours of the sessions, including progress notes, email communications, and any administrative tasks
A private HIPAA compliant space with reliable internet to provide telehealth therapy.
