Company Overview Likeminded Therapy is a New York City based boutique private practice that specializes in providing therapy for individuals, couples and families experiencing a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, interpersonal and relationship difficulties, life transitions, and stress management. At our practice, we focus on providing a warm and non-judgmental environment to help our patients cope with the stressors in their life and reach treatment goals. We strongly believe that building a trusted therapeutic relationship is essential in order for patients to feel understood, supported and to move forward and make changes in their lives.

As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for highly motivated, skilled, and compassionate licensed or limited permit therapists to join our team. We are looking to hire individuals that are excited and willing to expand their experience in private practice and learn how to be the best and most effective therapist to their patients.

We offer competitive hourly rates, flexible schedules, weekly supervision, and a strong referral network to help you build your caseload.

Who you are LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or a pre-licensed Limited Permit-MFT

Location Remote

What You’ll Do

Conduct consultations with potential clients

Provide weekly individual or couples therapy sessions

Complete session notes and treatment plans

Participate in weekly individual supervision

Respond effectively and appropriately to all client communication outside of session

Qualifications

Masters degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy

Valid NY State license/limited permit to practice (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, MFT-LP)

Ability to build and maintain a caseload of at least 10-15 clinical hours per week with opportunity to grow into full time if desired

Training and experience in clinical diagnostics according to the DSM-5

Ability to submit session notes and other supervision materials within the time frame specified by supervisor

Experience in clinical documentation and writing

Competitive hourly rates commensurate with experience
