Sanitation Technician 1
King & Prince Seafood is seeking a Sanitation Technician 1 to maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the food manufacturing facility, ensuring regulatory requirements and company standards are met.
General Summary The Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the food manufacturing facility, including equipment and processes. This role implements and maintains effective sanitation procedures to prevent contamination, supporting a safe and healthy environment for food production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, and utensils according to company protocols and regulatory requirements.
Operate cleaning equipment, such as high‑pressure washers and scrubbers.
Monitor and maintain sanitation chemical concentrations.
Address any sanitation issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Available to work 2:00 am–10:00 am Monday through Friday, with overtime as required.
Prior experience in food manufacturing sanitation preferred.
Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, and FDA/USDA regulations preferred.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
Availability to work flexible hours, evenings and occasional weekends.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions
Physical demands: standing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, and manual labor.
Fast‑paced food manufacturing facility environment.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required.
