HIRING IMMEDIATELY Sunstates Security is hiring for Full‑time Security Officers in the surrounding San Jose, CA areas. This position offers a pay rate of $27/hr, paid weekly. This officer will be working third shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM.

Requirements
CA Guard Card / 40‑hour Certificate preferred.
Must have Power to Arrest & Weapons of Mass Destruction Certificate.
Successfully complete Sunstates background check including a 10‑panel drug screen and the client’s more extensive background check.
Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and more than 3 years of driving experience.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service by upholding our standards in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
Display natural composure and an infectious attitude toward arising issues, with the ability to adapt quickly and develop practical solutions with minimal supervision.
Prepare all required written reports in an ongoing and timely manner, including but not limited to Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports.
Operate phones, radios, and computer systems and applications such as MAC iOS, Microsoft Office 365, and Google Suite.
Monitor closed‑circuit television (CCTV) and alarm panels for emergencies and potential issues.
Follow site‑specific post orders, pass down messages, and remain in compliance with employee handbook guidelines at all times.
Conduct interior and exterior patrols within an office and industrial complex.
A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification Requirements Driver’s license. CA Guard Card.
