Full‑time Security Officers
in the
San Jose, CA
area. The position offers a pay rate of
$27 /hr, paid weekly .
Shift:
Third shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Requirements
CA Guard Card / 40‑hour certificate preferred
Must have Power to Arrest & Weapons of Mass Destruction certificate
Successful completion of Sunstates background check, including a 10‑panel drug screen and the client’s extensive background check
21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and at least 3 years of driving experience
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner
Maintain composure and an infectious attitude toward emerging issues, adapting quickly and developing practical solutions with minimal supervision
Prepare required written reports promptly, including Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports
Operate phones, radios, and computer systems such as MAC OS iPhone, Microsoft Office 365, and Google Suites
Monitor closed‑circuit television (CCTV) and alarm panels for emergencies and potential issues
Follow site‑specific post orders, pass down messages, and comply with employee handbook guidelines at all times
Conduct interior and exterior patrols within office and industrial complexes
Education Requirements High School diploma or equivalent
Certification Requirements
Driver’s license
CA Guard Card
