Required Qualifications
Read and write English; interact with general public and co‑workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small‑group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds; occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities
Maintain a store section as assigned, order, receive and stock merchandise using proper equipment.
Ensure proper pricing on merchandise and check product date codes to verify proper rotation.
Stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays and refrigerated/frozen cases; prepare perishable products for sale; set up advertising/promotional displays.
Review invoices and bills for accuracy.
Cleans and maintains sanitation standards in all interior and exterior store areas, including parking lot.
Operate a cash register, receive payment, make change, process checks/charge/debit transactions and process refunds as approved.
Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers by delivering current store and product information.
Load customer purchases into vehicles upon request.
Perform basic bookkeeping duties and record lost/damaged goods and supplies using appropriate tools.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Reporting The Part‑Time Associate reports to the Store Manager and performs management‑assigned duties.
