Assist patients with daily activities (bathing, dressing, eating, etc.). Observe patient progress and report to nursing or medical staff. Obtain and record vital signs; collect specimens for lab tests. Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties. Measure intake/output, assist with range‑of‑motion, draw blood. Perform technical procedures (feeding tube, catheter, ECG, suture/staple removal, splinting). Coordinate unit activities; participate in performance improvement activities. Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. BLS certification within 14 days of hire. 5 years’ experience in acute or long‑term care (preferred). Completion of approved CNA or PCT certification (preferred). Active certification in the State of Texas.
