Key Purpose

As the Executive Sous Chef, you are the brand representative of Guckenheimer for your team and for your clients. You lead a team and efficiently oversee culinary and operational functions within the guidelines established by the client organization, the health department, state regulations, and Guckenheimer’s standards and expectations.

Work Hours

The work hours for this position may include afternoons, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Ideal Candidate Experience

Culinary Arts degree is preferred Culinary experience in a similar volume food service establishment Food service training with experience in food preparation techniques according to HACCP processes and recommendations Knowledge of restaurant merchandising and marketing for service preparation and presentation Effective communication and presentation skills to customers, clients, and employees Pastry and Sushi experience

Key Accountabilities

Oversee the purchasing, preparation, and execution of high‑quality, cost‑effective food service Hire, train, schedule staff and participate in corporate training and staff development programs Prepare and maintain accurate and timely accounting and financial records within your operating budget Maintain a sanitary and safe operation in accordance with Federal, State, and local health regulations, including HACCP guidelines Represent the company in a courteous, friendly manner Engage with customers, listen to feedback, and adjust to better meet client and customer needs

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs Dress according to the dress code Work under pressure and meet deadlines during peak periods

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $89,000.00 – $100,000.00. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and may vary from the above range. ISS offers full‑time employees a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, and a leave program based on employment status.
