Behavior Technician

Soar Autism Center . We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum through an innovative, play‑based ABA approach grounded in the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). As a behavior technician or RBT, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality, individualized ABA therapy and supporting families on their journey.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one‑on‑one ABA therapy to children aged 2‑6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's high standards.
Implement intervention plans crafted by our expert BCBAs, ensuring alignment with Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy principles.
Foster relationships with families, consistently updating them on their child's progress within the ABA framework.
Engage in ongoing training and development, keeping up‑to‑date with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification.
Qualifications
Strong preference for enrollment in or completion of a degree program; bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields.
Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within the first 6 weeks of employment (Soar will provide paid training).
RBT certification required for CO Springs location.
Previous experience with children and enjoyment working with children.
Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center; punctuality is essential.
Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client.
Computer and tablet literacy.
Ability to work on a team.
What We Offer
$21.50 – $28.50 per hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities; the initial offer hourly pay will be between $21.50 and $22.75.
