Role Overview Midian is seeking a dynamic Sales Operations Manager to lead our sales leadership team and spearhead strategic initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and tactical execution, driving profitability across our Residential, Commercial, and Roof Repair divisions. You will be responsible for fostering a high-performance growth culture while optimizing market share through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans to maximize profitability and expand market presence.
Team Management: Direct, coach, and mentor a team of Sales Managers; oversee staffing, performance reviews, and professional development.
Market Intelligence: Conduct rigorous research on industry trends, competitive pricing, and product substitution opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
Revenue Optimization: Establish ambitious sales quotas and implement pricing strategies based on deep margin analysis and customer business models.
Business Development: Identify emerging market opportunities and generate high-quality leads through innovative tactical marketing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Synchronize sales efforts with Marketing, Field Operations, and Administration to ensure seamless service delivery.
Relationship Management: Directly engage with key accounts and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and promote the Midian brand.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of proven success leading teams of managers and senior individual contributors. Construction industry experience is highly preferred.
Strategic Mindset: Strong business acumen with the ability to translate analytical data into actionable sales plans.
Communication: Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal skills; a natural negotiator.
Operational Excellence: Expert time management and the ability to manage complex projects toward long-term objectives.
