Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities, helping them improve their mobility and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to enhance recovery.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy. Licensed in State of Texas.
On-the-job training to new hires; orthopaedic therapy experience required.
Manual therapy skills, decision making, leadership and good communication skills, both orally and written required.
Ability to communicate effectively and develop and maintain effective relationships with patients.
Other duties to be assigned as necessary and may vary at times, as directed by the supervisor.
Requires prolonged sitting, stretching, and some bending. Requires eye‑hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, photocopies, telephone, and other equipment. Requires normal hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate information to patients and team members. Fast‑paced work environment.
