Overview
PrimeCare Medical is currently looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to work as a mental health professional in the medical department at the Clinton County Correctional Facility in McElhattan, PA. This position is Monday-Friday, during normal business hours (8:00am-4:30pm). Job Responsibilities
Conduct clinical assessments based on referrals and self-referrals, including documentation of findings, at minimum a mental status examination, case conceptualization, diagnosis, and treatment plan. Make referrals to psychiatry when appropriate. Conduct risk assessments using structured interviews and risk assessment tools. Manage inmates at risk for suicide or self-harm according to current policy and procedures. Serve as PrimeCare Medical mental health liaison for mental health services, outside the facility. Facilitate admission and placement of inmates/patients to forensic hospitals when necessary. Monitor all mental health services provided. Ensure clinical services meet standards of care in accordance with NCCHC and accepted psychiatric/psychological standards. Be a member of the Quality Assurance Committee. Develop and conduct in-service education programs according to annual in-service calendar. Collect data and prepare monthly reports reflecting performance. Benefits

Annual salary range is $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 Single and family health care (medical / prescription / dental / vision). Company-paid life insurance and additional insurance benefits offered. Must be licensed as an LPC or LCSW in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or related Human Service field with clinical coursework, training and/or experience. Minimum of two years of experience. Job Type
