Shift Supervisor – Burger King
Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking an energetic, customer‑focused Shift Supervisor to lead a dynamic team at one of our 80+ travel plazas serving travelers on the Northeast and Midwest routes.
What You’ll Do
Lead shift activities ensuring teams deliver exceptional, brand‑aligned customer service.
Handle opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
Operate POS, process payments, and maintain compliance with cash handling policies.
Enforce food‑handling and safety procedures (wrapping, labelling, stocking, temperature checks).
Prepare, cook, package, and clean kitchen items.
Sanitize workstations and cross‑sell products.
Assist in training new staff and uphold brand and safety standards.
Report observations, concerns, or issues to plaza leadership.
Complete any additional tasks as directed.
Essential Experience & Skills
Cash handling and customer service experience required.
Prefer experience as a shift supervisor or in a leadership role.
Excellent public and coworker interaction skills; friendly, enthusiastic, outgoing.
Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Capable of bending, twisting, lifting, and carrying up to 40 lbs.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Flexible schedule: days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
