Administrative Volunteer Needed in Harlem!
Services for the UnderServed (S:US) is a non‑profit organization that believes that every New Yorker deserves to find home in NYC. S:US works with communities and individuals in every corner of the city and on Long Island to make sure every New Yorker has the chance to find home. Because home is more than a roof. Home is stability, safety, community, and a sense of belonging. And the opportunity to find home is the right of every New Yorker. S:US Homebase is an eviction prevention program serving Manhattan residents experiencing housing instability and at risk of homelessness. They serve hundreds of people every day and as such have accrued a lot of paperwork that needs to be officially filed. They also need to consistently follow up with clients to ensure that everyone is getting the help they need and deserve. Volunteers will be a great help to the program by filing paperwork and aiding the front desk staff with documentation and phone calls. This would be an on‑going opportunity, and all supplies will be provided. Responsibilities

Understanding of confidentiality Organizational skills Homebase 3rd Avenue is open to volunteers on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Because volunteers will be working with confidential information, they are required to undergo background checks and fingerprinting.
