Responsibilities A successful candidate will support the Galt House Hotel brand by providing our guests with exceptional customer service.
Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards
Properly handle and maintain all equipment
Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures
Serve guests quickly and efficiently
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all menu offerings
Observe relevant health and safety standards
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Prior customer service experience in a food & beverage setting
Previous kitchen "back line" food preparation experience is required
Familiar with operating kitchen equipment such as a baking oven & electric knife
Professional appearance and demeanor
Strong knowledge of the various types of coffee is required
Previous barista experience is required
