$25.00/hr - $36.00/hr Insight Global is seeking a Boiler/Utility Mechanic who can own the reliability of black utility systems and the tank farm at our GMP biopharma site. This role combines hands‑on mechanical work with disciplined documentation and proactive inspections. You’ll maintain pumps, piping, and support systems in the tank farm, monitor black utilities (e.g., chilled water, compressed air, process gases), and walk down boilers and clean steam generators for leaks and operational integrity. Key Responsibilities
Perform daily walk‑throughs of tank farm: inspect pumps, valves, seals, and piping for leaks or abnormal conditions. Monitor and maintain black utility systems: chilled water, cooling towers, compressed air, process gases, and associated distribution. Respond to alarms and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly. Clean utilities (may participate in some clean utilities work but this specific position will mostly be focused on black utilities for the foreseeable future). Support inspections of boilers, RO/DI skids, and clean steam generators; verify operational integrity and report deviations. Assist operators with daily boiler checks; elevate issues requiring mechanical intervention. Execute preventive maintenance and repairs on pumps, motors, seals, and utility equipment per SOPs. Issue permits for hot work and confined space entry when required. Complete work orders in CMMS with full detail: as‑found condition, actions taken, parts used, measurements, and as‑left verification. Avoid “one‑line completes”—provide justification for all work to meet GMP audit standards. Compliance & Safety
Follow cGMP, GDP, and EHS standards (LOTO, PPE, hazard assessments). Support investigations and continuous improvement initiatives. Seniority level
