Senior Electrical Technician Position Objective Report to Supervisor in supporting plant operations, repair, fabricate, troubleshoot to lower downtime and improve machinery efficiency. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum 3 years previous experience. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair printed circuit board problems. Vocational education certificate. Ability to use precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers). Consistent, dependable attendance; willing to accommodate non-standard hours as necessary. Capable of managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions. Job Responsibilities Have regular, reliable attendance and be willing to work outside the regular schedule as required. Demonstrate safe work habits and adhere to all company rules and policies. Maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas. Work efficiently with other employees to meet plant and department goals in safety, quality, production, and housekeeping. Follow oral and written instructions from higher management. Cooperate with other departments within the plant. Attend department safety and training meetings. Available for overtime, call‑ins, and rotating schedule. Willingness to learn and upgrade skill level. Perform other related duties as assigned. Plan and carry out tasks in accordance with national and local standards and codes. Plan and achieve job tasks in a timely manner. Train and lead other personnel effectively. Perform job tasks without supervision. Properly fill out necessary paperwork associated with work orders and historical files. Work Environment Conditions Inside environmental conditions, protected from weather, not necessarily temperature conditions. Both inside and outside environments apply. Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Subject to noise requiring shouting above noise level. Subject to vibration and fluctuating movements of the body. Subject to hazards such as moving machinery, electrical currents, falling debris, exposure to chemicals, gases, high heat. Subject to unregulated atmospheric conditions caused by odors, fumes, gases, poor ventilation and dusts. Subject to oils and other cutting fluids via touch or air.
