Recreation Assistant – Lowell, MA
Salary Range: $15.00 – $17.00 / hr
Job Overview Balance life and work with a new career opportunity in long‑term care, short‑term rehabilitation, or skilled nursing. Bring fulfillment and quality of life to residents as an Activities Assistant.
Responsibilities
Plan, develop, organize, and implement activity programs for the geriatric population.
Participate in discharge planning, develop and implement activity care plans, and conduct resident assessments.
Assist in planning and executing group and individual activities.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Flexible schedule with willingness to work evenings and weekends.
Previous experience in a recreation/activities position, preferably in long‑term care.
Experience with dementia activities preferred.
