Qualifications
450+ hour comprehensive Pilates education
At least 2 years of teaching experience
Proficiency in contemporary approach to classical exercises
Excellent customer service and pleasant demeanor
Experience teaching 6+ participants in apparatus‑based group class
Demonstrated Reformer instruction ability
Previous leadership or management experience
Professional and effective communication skills
Willingness to evolve with new developments in fitness, especially Pilates
Passion for learning and continued education
Punctual and reliable
Core Responsibilities
Skillful use of a variety of equipment for every class (weights, Chair, Reformer, Springboard, TRX, Magic Circle, etc.)
Apply anatomical knowledge and focus on safety, offering modifications for clients with injuries or limitations
Stay current with and implement Club Pilates education standards
Develop and program safe, effective, challenging class plans per Club Pilates standards
Deliver Pilates instruction including intro, group apparatus, private and semi‑private sessions
Maintain minimum availability of 15 hours per week
Participate in monthly Lead Instructor conference calls and train staff on topics covered
Inspect equipment regularly and recommend updates
Track and review other instructors for proficiency and performanceSupport and mentor instructors to uphold Club Pilates standards and foster a positive team culture
Perform any other duties as assigned
