Overview
Sugarloaf is looking for outgoing and dependable individuals to join our team at 45 North as Breakfast Servers for our winter season. The focus of this position is to complete all food service related tasks consistently, carefully, and systematically in a service friendly environment. Responsibilities
Welcome and greet guests
Inform guests of specials and menu changes
Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services
Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point‑of‑sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar
Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner
Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment
Monitor and observe guest dining experiences. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable)
Assist fellow servers as situations arise or as needed
Assist bus person with clearing and resetting tables as needed
Qualifications
must be 18 years old
must either possess ServSafe certification or be able to obtain certification upon hire
must be available to work mornings
