Job Description Omni Charlottesville Hotel is seeking a
Food Runner/Room Service Server
to join The Conservatory team at our brand‑new upscale restaurant.
Responsibilities
Deliver food from kitchen to tables to support servers.
Assist servers during meal period.
Maintain knowledge of all menu items.
Greet guests warmly and provide water service.
Assist with pre‑busing of plates and other server duties as needed.
Answer the phone within 3 rings, follow etiquette, and input orders into Micros.
Complete paperwork, ensure tickets are correct, close out properly, and drop cash after each shift.
Perform station set‑up and break‑down, walk guest floors for trays, and side‑work.
Follow company policies and procedures; maintain clean uniform and professional appearance.
Assist where needed within F&B.
Qualifications
Enjoy guest interaction.
Work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask.
Stand and walk for extended periods or an entire shift.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place moderate‑weight objects without assistance.
Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Have or be able to attain ServSafe Food Handlers and TIPS Alcohol Certification.
