Teacher of Science (£5K Golden Hello) - the Howard School - Full-time

The Howard School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Teacher of Science to join the Science Department, to start from September 2026. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our school team. You’ll deliver engaging and practical lessons that inspire curiosity, support student progress, and help learners develop a strong understanding of science. This is a full time, permanent role, paid on the STPC Main/Upper Teacher Pay Scale, dependent on experience. An additional allowance may be available for the right candidate. The school is offering a recruitment incentive of £5,000 which is split into the following payments - £2,500 subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period, and a further £2,500 to be paid upon one year service. This post would suit an experienced or Early Career Teacher with good prospects for career development. The successful candidate will have an attention to detail, will work to a high standard, and will seek to ensure a positive educational environment through their work.
